Come join the Douglasville Police Department as we partner with Douglas County Sheriff’s Office to provide a fun night of trunks and treats at the DC Courthouse on Hospital Drive. The event is fun for the whole family. All trunks will have candy, and there will be hamburgers, hot dogs, and more to purchase to have a relaxing evening.
Come to downtown Douglasville for a Stranger Things-themed skating rink, karaoke, a costume contest, selfie spots with filming locations from the show, and more!

We will be accepting a limited number of vendors, including food vendors, through November 28th, as long as they are still available.
Vendors are encouraged to decorate their booths for Christmas.
We will have choral performances as well as possible other music.
Santa Claus will be on-site to meet with the kids.
We will still be taking new unwrapped toys and children’s clothes for the Christmas kids the PD takes on.

Congregation Ner Tamid of Marietta will have a Hanukkah Menorah Lighting in Marietta Square at Glover Park on Friday, December 23 at 6:30 pm. What’s better than Saturday brunch? Let’s add in a family day of recreation! Also, we will be unveiling our newest program: Rec-N-Roll. This newest park feature will connect with local neighborhoods and communities. We will also provide further details about how YOU can participate in our program. Come out and enjoy games, food trucks will be selling food + more.

The Douglasville Police Department Spring Festival & Safety Expo will take place on April 1, 2023 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Douglasville Public Safety Complex located at 2083 Fairburn Road. Come out and meet your public safety officials while the kids enjoy egg hunts, touch-a-trucks, a K-9 demo, and a bounce house along with food, vendors, and fun. This event is free and open to the public.
Vendors are needed and Booth Registration is $40.

Join us on Easter Weekend to celebrate our Beloved Pets! The animals that we call friends are furry, scaley, wet, smooth, rough, and so much more! This month we have 5 artists showing us their vision of their beloved pets. From Elephants to dogs and cats, to lizards and snakes, there are animals for all!

Fun lady’s night out that includes drinks and snacks. Each student will create their own unique wine tumbler that would make the perfect gift for any mother, sister, or friend. Sign up for a great time for mother and daughter(s) or a fun night out with the ladies. All supplies included!
Come out and show us your singing skills.
The day’s festivities will include people wishing to showcase their talents. These will be live performances of clean (songs that do not contain offensive content) music on the front lawn of the Douglasville Police Department. Local artists will be present while community members are invited to show up and participate in the day. This is an organized event over the period of a few hours where you can relax, bring a lawn chair, and enjoy what the summer day has to offer.
Do you enjoy BBQ and BBQ Cook-Offs? Join our government agencies for our own Cook-Off.
We will also have a BBQ Cook-Off between local government agencies to include the police department. The food may be purchased and there will be sides, drinks, etc. We are not seeking any others for the competition, this is a competition between the local government agencies working in Douglas County only.
